In today’s current economy of globalization, lackluster pipelines, complex clinical trials and stricter regulations, clinical trial sites continue to be the stakeholder afforded the least  attention. For those who have seniority, some manage momentarily while others close shop. There are those with a genuine desire to just stay on even keel and strive to maintain a balance between continuing to  participate in clinical trials and continuing to provide for their patient’s optimum care.

Three real life site scenarios will be presented and discussed. Tools, techniques and factors to consider will be taught. Outcomes to their usage will be presented. Learning from these lessons will be like “pearls of wisdom” passed on from actual experiences and data gathered will be applicable in today’s evolving and changing clinical trial environment.

Session Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Describe three site scenarios affecting a site’s ability to stay in business as a clinical trial environment
  • Identify  the highs and lows of cash flow, changing trends of clinical trials and facing the challenges posted by globalizations of clinical trials
  • Develop techniques used to survive from losses and what they need to do to avoid making the same mistakes

Target Audience

PIs, CRCs, Site Managers, Contracts and Budget Administrators    (Sites, CROs, Sponsors)
