Certification & Accreditation Manager

ACRP is the leader in certifying clinical research professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries, as well as those in hospital, academic medical centers, and physician offices. 

Successful candidates for the Certification & Accreditation Manager position will have the following:

  • Minimum of a four-year college degree, with an advanced degree desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical research, and medical concepts (An RN, Nurse Educator, or CRA would be a definite plus).
  • Ability to interact with science-oriented professionals.
  • Must be professional and articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5 - 8 years association certification experience (preferably with a medical association).
  • Familiarity with continuing education requirements for medical professionals and accreditation of education programs.
  • Proficient with MS Office products.
  • Supervisory experience, with strong organization/project management skills.
  • Enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced, multi-priority, deadline-driven, business environment.

This position requires some travel and weekend schedules. 

The Certification & Accreditation Manager plays a significant role within ACRP, as follows:

  • Plan, develop, direct, and deliver certification products and programs with the primary focus of development and implementation of high-quality credentials for clinical researchers.
  • Insure that certification candidates meet all requirements prior to exam dates. 
  • Manage operation of exam sites, third-party vendors, and department budget.
  • Work with Exam Committees and chapters.
  • Manage the certification renewal process, develop promotional and program growth strategies, prepare and maintain program statistics, review and edit department SOP’s and coordinate integration with Avectra’s netForum.
  • Review education programs for adherence to accreditation provider requirements (e.g., CME).
  • Provide rapid and immediate customer service to members and certification applicants, as well as chapter representatives seeking approval of programs for certification credits.
