Site Managers Forum
Site Managers Mission Statement
The purpose of the Site Manager's Forum is to provide support to clinical research managers pertaining to issues affecting clinical trials conduct. Pertinent subjects discussed include budget and contract negotiation, research ethics, regulatory compliance and a variety of legal and human resources issues such as: staff training, salaries, liability insurance coverage etc. Forum membership is open to all ACRP membership and is mainly comprised of managerial research site personnel including Site Managers, Lead Coordinators, Business Managers, and Administrators. Using tools such as our list serve and Web site, Forum members can share and identify areas of common concern, strategize methods to leverage strengths, and explore ways to decrease obstacles affecting efficient management of our respective centers. The Site Manager's Forum also provides ACRP Chapters educational opportunities through speaking engagements on a variety of topics.

We Invite You to Present at One of ACRP's Chapter Meetings
The Association of Research Professionals recognizes the fact that our membership is our greatest resource for education. Each of our members is an integral part of the clinical research team. Forum members are unique in that they have designated a special interest that they are particularly interested in/a part of. Therefore, we ask that you be willing to share your expertise and knowledge with others who possibly do not have as much experience, or simply would benefit from learning from your experience. The ACRP Chapters are constantly looking for speakers to come and present on various topics at their Chapter meetings. They also recognize that Forums are one of the greatest resources to find speakers. If you would be willing to present at a Chapter meeting, please fill out the speaker release form, and include the information that it asks for and email, fax or mail to the Chapters and Forums Coordinator,

Forum Monitor Column Submission Ideas
In an effort to expand forum membership involvement, all the Forums, along with ACRP, implemented a new opportunity for each of you to stay informed, be involved and share your knowledge and expertise with others. All members within all the Forums were invited to submit an article on a topic chosen by the Chair of your Forum. We encourage you to continue to submit articles for the
Monitor or to offer topics of interest. Once the Forum Chair has received all of the suggested topics, he/she will designate the appropriate person, or volunteer, to write the article. Each article should be between 500 and 1000 words. We are very excited about this new opportunity to exchange ideas and developments within the clinical research arena. So, start thinking about topics you would like to write about and contact your
Forum Chair. We want to read what YOU have to say in the upcoming issues of
