About ACRP U.S. Chapters
U.S. Chapters serve a defined geographic area and help bring ACRP's educational benefits to the local level. By sponsoring programs, chapters provide members with the means for professional interaction and continuing education without having to travel far from home or work. Chapter events are open to ACRP members and non-members; however, chapter members must also be ACRP members.

Contact Hours for Chapter Events in 2009
As the demand for continuing education credits/contact hours from ACRP educational events has increased, so has the cost to maintain ACRPs provider status. As a result, ACRP approved a policy to collect a fee for all ACRP provided contact hours to supplement the cost of maintaining our accreditation status, including contact hours obtained via chapter events. Beginning January 2009, all ACRP and APPI chapters will be implementing this new policy by including a minimal charge for attendees to obtain contact hours from chapter events. The new fee for contact hours will be determined by the quantity of hours offered at the event and will be collected with the registration fee or on site (dependent on how the event is organized). We hope you continue to take advantage of the quality local education and networking opportunities organized by your local chapter and we thank you for your dedication to the organization and commitment to the profession.
