About Front Range ACRP
Welcome to Colorado’s Front Range Chapter of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Our Chapter has been in existence since September 14, 1998. We serve the Denver and surrounding area to provide up-to-date information, continuing education credits, and networking for the research community. We are a comprehensive organization of clinical research professionals from a variety of backgrounds. Our members include professionals from hospitals, universities, clinics and various research corporations. Our members perform a wide variety of research roles within their professional organizations including Principal Investigators, Site Managers, Clinical Research Associates, IRB members, Research Nurses, Study Coordinators, Regulatory Specialists, and Data Managers, to name just a few.
As a chapter of the ACRP, the mission of this organization shall be to provide a readily accessible mechanism for regional program development for clinical research professionals to foster professional interaction, continuing education, problem solving, and discussion of professional issues.

Joining and Renewing Chapter Membership
ACRP National recognizes the immense amount of work and dedication local volunteers put into making Chapters operate. In an effort to simplify local Chapter dues collection and membership tracking, ACRP National has created a system to move these processes in-house at the ACRP Global Headquarters. ACRP National produces invoices for membership dues for all members on a regular cycle based on membership expiration dates. These invoices are generated three months prior, month of, one month after, and final notice two months after national membership expiration date.
On these invoices, ACRP National has added a line item called "Local Chapter Dues" for those affiliated with a local chapter. This line item will have the name of the local chapter along with that local chapter renewal rate (which will match your national dues renewal date). Upon return with payment, ACRP National will update the individual record with new national/local membership expirations dates for both areas of the database.
To join the FR Chapter, please log-in to the Members Only site and follow the instructions provided. Links to individual paper applications for national/chapter membership and student membership are available, as well:
We look forward to seeing you at our Front Range Chapter meetings and hope that you will consider becoming more involved in the Chapter at some point by volunteering for a committee or running for a Board Member position.
Chapter Meeting Dates and Locations
The FR ACRP usually meets the first Monday every other month from September through May. The meetings last from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. The goal for this Chapter meeting is to facilitate education in clinical research, crediting one continuing education credit per one hour lecture at each meeting.
Board meetings occur on the months between educational meetings from August through April and the minutes of these meetings are discussed with chapter members at the chapter meetings.
Meeting Location:
In the interest of accommodating as many members as possible, chapter meetings rotate to different locations around the Denver Metro area.
Board Meetings:
The Board met last on July 12, 2010 to set goals and plan for the upcoming year. You may Click Here to view the minutes for that meeting.
Benefits of Front Range Chapter Membership
Becoming an active member in your local ACRP chapter is a great way to learn more about clinical research in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and it also provides many great benefits; a member of the FR ACRP can expect to receive the following benefits:
- Obtaining research-related continuing education credits for each speaker meeting you attend – which counts towards certification maintenance
- Discounted registration for chapter sponsored educational programs
- Networking in all areas of research with other engaged research professionals
- A valuable resource for information, training, and employment opportunities
Remember, only members of ACRP can become members of the local Chapter. Our Chapter is active in the National dues collection program. This means that the national organization will collect dues for local membership at the same time they collect your national dues.
