About the CKA Test
The CKA test assesses internationally accepted core concepts for conducting clinical trials and does not require the two years of experience required to acquire the CCRA, CCRC, CCTI or CPI designations.
The test is a way to demonstrate to an employer or a regulatory authority that you possess a standard level of knowledge of the regulatory requirements for conducting clinical research studies, and can serve as a first step in seeking certification.
The CKA test is the Academy of Clinical Research's first in the clinical research field to test knowledge without requiring a specific number of years of experience.

Step 1: Complete the CKA application and select one of more than 170 U.S. or International Assessment Centers.
Step 2: Mail your application and payment to ACRP's Global Headquarters.
Step 3: Schedule your test. Once your application and payment have been received and approved, Applied Measurements Professionals, our testing agency, will e-mail you a link to access the procedure for scheduling your test.
Step 4: Take your test online and receive your results immediately.
The ACRP CKA Practice Test is a 10-item, online practice exam developed by the ACRP Examination Committees that conforms to the specifications of the CKA Test in terms of content and cognitive levels. The test is intended to help you prepare for the CKA Test by getting you familiar with the types and formats of actual test questions. The relative representation of the types of questions does not exactly match the distribution on the actual CKA Test.
As you take the practice test and click the 'Grade' button for each question, you will see the correct answer and an explanation. The practice test may be reviewed as many times as you like, 24 hours a day, for 90 days from the time of purchase, as long as you select the 'Exit' button as opposed to selecting one of the 'Finish' buttons. After completing the examination, you will be able to view your feedback report on screen. The feedback report indicates how many items you answered correctly.
