Forte and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) announced a new partnership in 2019 working on several initiatives together to support the clinical trial ecosystem.

The partnership will work to gain a deeper understanding of the current level of technology competency in the clinical research workforce and discover opportunities for improving professional competence and technology adoption in clinical research.

This month, the two companies are launching the first comprehensive survey of technology competency in the clinical research enterprise.

“Technology offers tremendous opportunity to improve clinical trial quality and outcomes,” says Jim Kremidas, ACRP Executive Director, “but the full potential of technology will only be realized if the clinical trial workforce is adequately educated and trained to leverage current and future solutions. By partnering with Forte, we are confident this survey will help create a more competent workforce prepared to seize the opportunities presented by technology.”

“We are excited to partner with ACRP and take a collaborative approach to solving these challenges we’re seeing in staffing competencies,” adds Shree Kalluri, Founder and CEO of Forte. “Technology in this landscape is critical to enabling successful clinical research.  Through this survey, we expect to uncover areas of opportunities to ensure wider and deeper adoption of technology.”

The survey will analyze both individual and organizational competence to better understand perceived competency levels of individuals working in clinical research roles and the factors that influence and enhance technology proficiency.  Further, the survey aims to uncover the organizational characteristics and practices that contribute to the adoption of technologies and advancement of technology competencies.

The survey is set to launch mid-January and preliminary results will be presented at Forte’s Onsemble Conference in Dana Point, CA, March 26-29 and full results and presentation at ACRP 2019 annual conference in Nashville, TN, April 12-15, 2019.
