ACRP, VIARES Bolster Cooperation to Help CROs Address Global Workforce Challenges

VIARES to Pilot Entry-Level Knowledge Assessment (ELKA) in Clinical Research Workforce Development

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and Austria-based VIARES GmbH are expanding their cooperation efforts to help CROs around the world attract and retain key talent.

VIARES provides its growing customer base with on-demand, highly qualified Clinical Research Specialists through its proprietary VIARES ACADEMY training programs.

Under this expanded cooperation, VIARES will pilot ACRP’s new Entry-Level Knowledge Assessment (ELKA) to validate the foundational knowledge of VIARES’ turnkey clinical research workforces.

ACRP’s Entry-Level Knowledge Assessment, released April 22, is a new assessment program testing the foundational knowledge competencies of clinical research professionals.

Available on-demand globally, the ELKA gives organizations employing clinical research professionals an efficient, effective tool to vet prospective entry-level employees and connects well with the global digital VIARES clinical research training programs.

“We are excited to deepen our cooperation with VIARES in clinical research workforce development,” says Jim Kremidas, ACRP Executive Director. “As we prepare for the post-COVID resumption of clinical trial activity at full capacity, it is imperative we are taking steps today to ensure a vibrant, skilled workforce is ready to deliver.”

“We feel honored to join forces with ACRP and make jointly our small contribution towards easing the pains of the global crisis by opening to door to clinical research to many aspiring professionals and at the same time making well trained and motivated talent available to the clinical trial industry to navigate the post-COVID19 capacity crisis”, says Dietmar Eglhofer, CEO of VIARES.

VIARES, the Clinical Research Talent Company, is committed to close the clinical research talent gap – today and tomorrow.
