It’s becoming increasingly clear that the lack of diversity in the clinical trial workforce is one of the root causes of the lack of diversity in the patient population. Working to get to the core of both problems, Danielle Coe founded Black Women in Clinical Research (BWICR) in 2019. In our Oct. 9, 2020 discussion, she outlines why organizations such as hers are vitally important to improving clinical trials, and how BWICR has already made a positive impact.
