ACRP Retired Certification

The Academy of Clinical Research Professionals (Academy) is proud to offer a Retired Status designation to recognize the lifelong contributions of clinical research professionals who are stepping away from the field.

This honorary status is available to individuals who have held an active ACRP-CP®, CCRA®, CCRC®, or CPI®, certification and are now fully retired from clinical research practice.

  • Continued recognition of your credential and contributions to the profession
  • Use of the retired designation (e.g., CCRC® (Retired))
  • Downloadable certificate honoring your Retired Status
  • One-time flat fee and no ongoing renewal requirements

Eligibility Requirements

  • Fully retired and no longer working in clinical research in any capacity
  • Active ACRP Certification in good standing at the time of application
  • Application submitted within six months of your certification’s expiration date

How to Apply

  • Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria
  • Complete the Retired Status Application Form
  • Pay the $125 one-time fee
  • ACRP staff will follow up with you within ten business days
