The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and its members have been honored with the esteemed 2023 Pierre PARtnership Award from the Professionals for Association Revenue (PAR) in recognition of the invaluable impact the clinical research workforce made this year to promote the power of its profession. The award honors the life and legacy of Christine Pierre, founder of the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS).

ACRP has organized and promoted Clinical Trials Day globally since 2014. In 2023, ACRP transformed its campaign strategy, forging collaborations with corporate partners to elevate the campaign, engage the global clinical research community, and foster a sense of shared purpose. The “Together We Can” theme served as a unifying force, resonating across ACRP live events and social media platforms, testimonial videos, and personalized selfie sign messages. This year’s global campaign saw an extraordinary 476 percent surge in video views and a 135 percent increase in social media engagement compared to last year.

“This award would not have been possible without the engagement of our members, sponsors, and clinical research professionals from more than 100 countries who accessed our toolkits to share their passion for a career in clinical research,” says Susan P. Landis, ACRP Executive Director. “Due to your efforts, Clinical Trials Day 2023 was the most successful campaign yet. We cannot wait to share what is in store for 2024!”

Three finalist organizations shared their stories of success with the PAR community during the RevUP Summit in Annapolis, Md., which included the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT) and the School Nutrition Association (SNA).
