Unlearn to Learn: The Evolution of Clinical Research/Trial Training
Think about this for a minute….you are a CRC, and your site has been awarded a new clinical trial. You and your PI are invited to the Investigator Meeting in September, for a trial that is anticipated to start in January. You complete all your required trial-related training up front, it is documented, and your study team is “cleared” as “trained” on the trial. You won’t likely see your first patient until January….
Are you ready to conduct the trial, utilize the technology, and process the labs as trained? Would a refresher, micro-learning, or InfoSheet at the time of the task be useful for you? The presenters discussed the current way clinical trial training is implemented and ways that it could potentially be done more effectively and efficiently by industry stakeholders.
