The Association of Clinical Research Professionals

ACRP Rally4Researchers

Building a representative, research-ready clinical trial workforce is imperative to the sustainability, quality, and reliability of clinical research now and in the future–and that’s what the ACRP Rally4Researchers is all about.

This fundraiser supports access and advancement through educational grants and scholarships for those pursuing a career in clinical research
and the creation of key initiatives that break down barriers and build bridges for entry into the clinical research profession.

“Our industry’s efforts to increase representation are not only for the patients we serve; this work is also keenly focused on those we serve alongside (colleagues). The ACRP Rally4Researchers aims to close the equity gap in clinical research as a career option, an essential – and significant – step toward realizing health equity for all.”

Cycling for the Clinical Research Workforce

Thank you to everyone who donated in 2025! Since 2021, the ACRP annual cycling fundraiser has raised $271,026 in donations from individuals and corporate sponsors. Funds go directly to support educational grants and tuition scholarships—made possible by your generous contributions.

Research shows that study sites with multicultural personnel do a better job of recruiting volunteers that represent a broad patient population that’s needed to ensure that today’s medicines work for everyone.

The 6-day, 355-mile cycling journey from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC, raised funds for the ACRP Access for Students to Clinical Research Training (ASCRT) Scholarship Program for early-career and graduate-level students pursuing an education in clinical research and educational grants so researchers can benefit from gold-standard education and professional networking at the ACRP Annual Conference. It also supported ACRP workforce development initiatives that are leading the charge to build a diverse, research-ready clinical research workforce.

With the recent workforce challenges, your support meant more than ever. A donation is a tangible way to uplift the clinical research community and invest in its future. These opportunities offer more than financial aid—they support the education, collaborations, and solutions our profession needs to continue to thrive.

Every dollar raised will help increase access to education, training, and career advancement in clinical research. When your organization supports the ACRP Rally4Researchers, you help to move the people and practice of clinical research forward by supporting the growth of the workforce.
