The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) today announces UpTrials as the newest member of ACRP’s Partners Advancing the Clinical Research Workforce™, a multi-stakeholder collaborative of clinical research industry leaders who are committed to building a diverse, research-ready clinical research workforce.
“Building a larger, more diverse workforce is imperative to the existence, quality, and efficiency of clinical research and the inclusion of more diverse clinical trial participants,” says Susan Landis, ACRP Chief Executive Officer. “We are grateful for the support of our consortium members and their leadership in helping break down barriers to entry in the clinical research workforce and creating fundamental change in industry recruiting and retention strategies.”
Member organizations—including sponsors, CROs, investigator sites, academic institutions, regulatory agencies, and more—provide strategic direction and support for breaking down barriers and building bridges for entry into the clinical research profession through several key initiatives, including:

- Developing resources for industry stakeholders to build awareness and recruit early talent into the clinical research profession
- Spearheading and supporting novel programs to drive prospective clinical research professionals to the workforce
