Charting the Course: Navigating the Future of Clinical Research—Together
Earlier this week, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) unveiled the theme for its 2027 Annual Conference and launched the official conference website, offering an early look at the educational, networking, and professional development opportunities planned for the clinical research community in San Diego, Calif., April 30 – May 3, 2027.
Under the theme, Charting the Course: Navigating the Future of Clinical Research—Together, ACRP 2027 will bring clinical research professionals together to explore the ideas, innovations, and strategies shaping the future of the profession.
The theme reflects a defining moment for clinical research. As advancements in technology, evolving regulations, workforce challenges, and new approaches to conducting research continue to transform the industry, navigating the future requires the collective knowledge, expertise, and leadership of the professionals driving the field forward. ACRP 2027 will provide an opportunity for those professionals to learn from one another, exchange perspectives, and help chart a path forward together.
“Clinical research has always evolved through the dedication, ingenuity, and collaboration of its professionals,” said David Vulcano, FACRP, Chief Executive Officer of ACRP. “As the pace of change continues to accelerate, our ability to navigate the future depends on coming together to share knowledge, embrace new ideas, and collectively shape the direction of the profession.”
Designed to inspire fresh thinking and meaningful connections, ACRP 2027 will feature four days of educational programming with more than 60 sessions led by 120 subject matter experts, peer-to-peer learning, networking opportunities, and industry engagement. Attendees will gain practical insights from experts and colleagues while exploring the challenges and opportunities influencing the future of clinical research.
A dynamic Expo Hall will showcase the organizations, technologies, products, and services supporting the clinical research enterprise, creating opportunities for attendees to discover solutions, build relationships, and engage with industry partners.
ACRP will announce its highly anticipated Signature Series keynote speakers in November. Known for bringing influential thought leaders and compelling voices to the conference stage, the Signature Series challenges attendees to think beyond their day-to-day responsibilities and consider the broader forces shaping the future of work, leadership, innovation, and clinical research.
The newly launched conference website offers attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors, a destination to explore conference highlights, stay informed about upcoming announcements, and begin planning their ACRP 2027 experience.
Clinical research professionals are encouraged to discover how ACRP 2027 can help them build knowledge, expand their networks, and contribute to the future of the profession.
Organizations interested in establishing a presence at ACRP 2027 can learn more about exhibiting, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities through the conference website and available prospectuses.
