ACRP Announced as 2025 Anthem Award Finalist

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) announced today that it is a Finalist in The 5th Annual Anthem Awards for its 2025 Clinical Trials Day campaign, Powered by Purpose, in the Health – Awareness Category (Non-Profit).

Organized and promoted by ACRP since 2014, International Clinical Trials Day is held each May 20 as a joyful celebration for the clinical research community to pause in reflection, recognition, and admiration for all that is accomplished due to clinical trials and the people behind them.

Powered by Purpose organically reached a vast global audience, spanning continents and cultures, with 550,000 digital impressions and engagements, 28,000 website visitors, and 5,825 celebration toolkit downloads.

“The 2025 campaign signaled ACRP’s advocacy for healthcare professionals who play an essential role in the development of new medicines and are the evidence generators for the drug and device development enterprise. ACRP is committed to recognizing clinical research professionals across the globe for their immense contributions to improving patient health and outcomes,” said Susan P. Landis, ACRP Chief Executive Officer.

Since 2021, the Anthem Awards have recognized individuals, companies, and organizations whose mission-driven work is creating meaningful change around the world. It is the largest and most comprehensive social impact award.

ACRP is asking its community to cast their vote in support of Clinical Trials Day at celebrate.anthemawards.com. Type “ACRP” in the search bar or find Powered by Purpose in the Health – Non-Profit Awareness category. The finalists with the greatest number of votes will win the Anthem Community Voice Awards.

Finalists were selected from over 2,000 entries across 42 countries, alongside global trailblazers like Sesame Street, Rare Beauty, World Central Kitchen, Clinton Global Initiative, Google, World Wildlife Fund, The Daily Show, and the World Economic Forum.

“In our fifth year of the Anthem Awards, we are celebrating and honoring the true changemakers that are pushing humanity forward, especially amid current challenges,” said Patricia McLoughlin, General Manager of the Anthem Awards. “This year’s cohort of Finalists represents hope, compassion, and inclusivity, and teaches us that when we come together with united action, we can truly make a difference.”

Being a Finalist in this prestigious international competition is a powerful acknowledgment of ACRP’s commitment to advocating for clinical research professionals and amplifying your voices on a global stage. We’re proud to stand alongside some of the world’s most impactful organizations.

All Finalists are in the running for Gold, Silver, and Bronze Anthem Awards chosen by judges in the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). Winners of the 5th Annual Anthem Awards will be announced on Tuesday, November 18 at anthemawards.com.
