ACRP Welcomes Huron as Partners Advancing the Clinical Research Workforce™ Member

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) today announces Huron, a global professional services firm with extensive experience in education and research, as the newest member of ACRP’s Partners Advancing the Clinical Research Workforce™, a multi-stakeholder collaborative of clinical research industry leaders who are committed to building a diverse, research-ready clinical research workforce.

“Expanding the clinical research workforce is vital to the future of safe, effective, and efficient clinical trials,” said Susan Landis, ACRP Chief Executive Officer. “We are grateful to our consortium members for their leadership in removing barriers to entry and driving meaningful improvements in how the industry recruits and supports clinical research professionals.”

Member organizations—including sponsors, CROs, investigator sites, academic institutions, regulatory agencies, and more—provide strategic direction and support for breaking down barriers and building bridges for entry into the clinical research profession through several key initiatives, including:

  • Informing and influencing industry understanding of the challenges and opportunities in clinical research workforce development through thought leadership Setting and supporting standards for workforce competencies
  • Developing resources for industry stakeholders to build awareness and recruit early talent into the clinical research profession
  • Spearheading and supporting novel programs to drive prospective clinical research professionals to the workforce
