The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) today recognizes nearly 1,700 clinical research professionals who have demonstrated a long-term commitment to conducting clinical trials safely, ethically, and to the highest standards by keeping their ACRP Certification in good standing for at least 5 continuous years. Last year, 1,659 clinical research professionals achieved this milestone – including a distinguished group of 16 individuals who have maintained their ACRP credentials for 30 years consecutively.
“Maintaining ACRP Certification demonstrates a continued dedication to the highest standards of excellence and supports ACRP’s mission to promote excellence in clinical research,” says Susan Landis, ACRP Executive Director. “We applaud these distinguished professionals for their commitment to their professional development, our profession, and the patients we serve. Congratulations to all!”
ACRP has certified more than 35,000 clinical research professionals since 1992, offering 6 accredited credentialing programs that validate professional competency and support ongoing professional development.
“I strongly believe that certification is a crucial step for anyone who wants to succeed in clinical research,” says Dolores McCall, BS, MBA, MHA, CCRA, who earned her ACRP Certification in 1997 and achieved her 25-year milestone in 2022. “It demonstrates your commitment to the profession, enhances your credibility, and helps you stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices. Obtaining my certification not only validated my knowledge and expertise in the field, but also opened up new opportunities and helped advance my career.”
“ACRP Certification is a milestone achievement I am proud of, and it’s a way of showing my dedication to protecting human subjects and conducting high quality clinical research,” adds Suzanne Kincaid, CCRA, ACRP-PM, FACRP, who earned her ACRP Certification in 2002 and achieved her 20-year milestone in 2022. “ACRP Certification is just as important to me today as it was 20 years ago.”
ACRP will recognize and highlight these dedicated professionals at the ACRP 2023 annual conference in Dallas, April 28 – May 1. ACRP’s annual conference is the place to be for clinical research professionals seeking inspiration, information, and connection.
