Instructions

Home Study tests expire one year after they are published; refunds are not given. Three articles are selected from each issue of Clinical Researcher as the basis of a Home Study test. Each test earns you three continuing education credits (30 questions based on three articles). Particpants who answer 80 percent of the test questions correctly are eligible for continuing education credits.

Accessing Your Home Study Test

If you purchased an online Home Study, a link to access the test has been sent to your registered e-mail address. If you have not yet received your access link, please contact ACRP at office@acrpnet.org. You may also access your test via ACRP Learning Portal.

Once you have your access link, follow these steps:

Step 1: Read the appropriate Home Study article(s) in print or online (login required for access to Clinical Researcher online).

Step 2: Review each question and set of answers in the Home Study. Enter one answer for each question under “Test Responses.”

Step 3: When your test is completed, click the ‘Submit’ button. You must answer 80 percent of the questions correctly to be eligible for 2 or 3 continuing education credits, depending on the test. You will receive a Certificate of Completion via e-mail within 24 hours of taking your test.

Important: If you happen to fail your Home Study test you can retake the test at no charge from the ‘ACRP Learning Portal’ link located in the log-in area after you are logged in to acrpnet.org. You can also return to the test by clicking the ‘Go To’ link at the bottom of your purchase confirmation email.

Evaluating to Receive Continuing Education Credits

Home Study tests require use an evaluation component as part of the educational activity. The evaluation will ask you to evaluate the content of each article, the quality of materials, the staff performance, and some general questions about your experience taking the Home Study. Completing the evaluation will not affect your grade on the Home Study test. You will be required to complete an evaluation after you have taken the Home Study test in order to receive contact hours.

Hardware/Software Requirements

Home Study tests require version 4.x browsers or higher from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari. A browser that can run Adobe Flash 9.0 is required to view the digital edition of Clinical Researcher and Adobe Acrobat is required to view PDFs of the Home Study test.
